To Do Tuesday 1-18-22

HI and welcome to To Do Tuesday, the day we share our week of projects, life, events, photos, crafts, tablescapes - you name it, we share it! If you want more information, just click on the lovely couple above.

I actually did get a few things done in the sewing room but no photos. We have some busy stuff going on right now, so I feel like the sewing room is beckoning like a bright light on a dark day! Hopefully over the weekend I will get some fun time in there.

My goals last week:
✅1. Continue to work on Wedding Quilt - the wedding was on Saturday, but I am still sewing on the "B" blocks. I notified the happy couple that I will be sending a handmade surprise sometime in the next month.
❌2. Finish borders for Santa Fe Trail flimsy - the flimsy is still waiting patiently
✅3. Reconsider 2021 Monthly Color Challenge blocks for a quilt - it will be shunted to the side for now

Goals for the coming week:
1. Wedding quilt blocks
2. RBD challenge block
3. SAHRR block - curves
4. Doctor appointments, errands, and babysitting while daughter does divorce mediation

Just click below to join in the fun for this week - we would love the chance to visit your blog!

  1. Sometimes life does get busy so hopefully you do get a little relax time in the sewing department.

  4. Borders always slow me down when I'm trying to make progress, too. So glad you can be there for your daughter - I'm sure she really appreciates it, Linda! Have a good week!

  6. Hi Linda. As busy as you will be with life and family you have a good list to help with some fabric therapy. Just breathe deep and try to have some moments in your studio to help cope.

    1. Awww thanks Carol, I DO need that reminder from time to time. I'm looking forward to some "free from obligations" time on Saturday! I think of you often, picturing you on one of your trips to your studio! :)

  8. Hi Linda! thank you so much for the linky party this week. It sounds like you have a LOT on your plate. I am 100% certain that the newlyweds do not mind waiting for the lovely finish that is imminent. Not only that, but they will surely love it and feel all the love that you've stitched into it. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  11. I really like this weekly linky party, and it does help me to get things done knowing I have a little accountability with my quilting friends, but we also have other parts of our lives that need attention. I totally get not having time or energy to snap any photos. I admire people who include such wonderful photos in their blog or Instagram posts, but sometimes it feels like just one more thing to do. I appreciate all the time you put into hosting this linky party.

  12. Sorry i didn't get linked up - my week so far has been changed up a bit (good stuff, though). I hope your daughter gets through all that quickly and without too much emotional trauma.

    1. I know, right? We are still wondering how we accomplished so much when we were younger. We were so busy then but never even thought about it, just took it in stride. Now just having a doctor appointment or two makes us think we are busy - lol!
