To Do Tuesday 3-15-22 - St Patrick's Day Edition

Welcome to the St Patrick's Day 2022 edition of To Do Tuesday! Today you may show us your enchanted projects and goals for the past week and the upcoming week. Click on the celebrating couple above if you need more information. Otherwise just click and add your wee post to the lucky linky below. 😁

Are you baking or cooking anything special for St Patrick's Day? Jocelyn, who is Canadian Needle Nana, had a delicious looking photo and recipe for Irish Soda Bread that I intend to try. Go check it out right here. When I was catering for my church I made Elise Bauer's Beef Irish Stew, and it was delicious. You can find her recipe right here. Do you have a favorite St Paddy's Day recipe?

The littlest Grands came on Saturday with our daughter to play with the new doggies

What has been happening in your world this past week? Did you survive the pesky Daylight Savings Time change? Here at the new dog house, Boomer the puppy woke me up early anyway, so it was life as usual. Fill us in on your week by clicking the link below and adding your post to the party! Be sure to check back later in the week to visit all the other blogs joining the linkup. Last week there were 30 linkups full of inspiration, eye candy, book and TV recommendations, photography, and recipes - there is truly something for everyone. Thank you all for being so faithful to post every week!

Here is the link to Marsha's Spot blog to add to your list. My blog does not do well with the Inlinkz link to her blog, so if you are having the same problems, just copy the link below and paste it into your browser.

  1. Those Pieces in the Garden blocks are amazing. I love Irish soda bread, I have made it, but I'm not able to make it like the Irish do, when they make it its yummy.

  2. Looks like the the littles and the puppies had a good time. Hopefully they wore each other out such that naps were taken by all. Good luck with your to do list for this week.

  5. Fun with the grands! The dogs look happy, too. That Irish Beef Stew sounds yummy. No real plans for St Patrick's Day here, but I'll try to remember to wear green, lol! Thanks for hosting us every week!

  6. Good morning! Yes, we ALWAYS celebrate St. Patrick's well here! I'm not Irish (but I've been to Ireland if that counts for anything, esp loving the place??). My fam loves Irish soda bread! Yum! We'll be having colcannon (can't get enough of it!) and Guinness Chocolate Pudding (another fave) but I still need to work on the rest of the menu. One daughter is bringing Irish Cheddar Biscuits which have Guinness in them as well. We're having my in-laws and our kids over on Sunday for the whole shin-dig--a little late but I don't have time until then anyway! Sláinte!

  7. I would like to make a good Irish Soda Bread but when I have tried it is usually dry and crumbly, I should look the recipe over maybe is different than what I have tried in the past. So nice having little grandchildren visit.

  9. Good for you on finishing your Bow blocks!!!! Yes, that scant 1/4” seam is a challenge, but your finished blocks are precious! I’m glad the blocks from Row 2 are going up fast! I’m hoping to finish Row 1 this week and then start Row 2. Happy sewing!

  10. Hi Linda! Well, aren't those just the cutest little visitors enjoying the puppies?!! Kids and dogs - they just go together so well. Are you getting used to your new kitchen? Help your daughter move - I hope that means you watch the kids and not so much lifting, etc. Good luck on your list and thanks so much for the linky party. It does a great job of keeping me on task! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  11. Corned beef and cabbage and potatoes used to happen. Now it’s just the two of us so I got fixings for Rueben’s. Found a combo pack of sliced corned beef and Swiss cheese at our grocery store. I’ll share a photo on I Like Thursday!
How do you embellish the Couple Photo? It’s so fun!
