To Do Tuesday 8-2-22

Welcome to To Do Tuesday on this first Tuesday in August! Today is the day we share our "playlists" or goals for the week and report on results of our efforts from the past week. If you are new to this event and would like to participate (and I hope you will!), just click on the couple above for more information.

I saw this on Instagram and thought it was so funny!

Last week's playlist:
✅1. Piece together The Wedding Quilt backing - Done!
✅2. Continue to sew RSS quilt rows together - Done - it's a flimsy! I ordered the perfect backing for it, and it arrived yesterday!
❌3. Make more Indiana Puzzle blocks when fabric arrives - Fabric is here but no progress
✅4. Stay with The Littles while our daughter has her annual physical on Friday - Done and fun!
✅5. If time allows, start on Moda's new Sew-Along - Letters to Santa! - I chose my letters and now need to decide what extra blocks to add

This week's playlist:
1. Piece backing, sandwich, and quilt RSS quilt
2. Sandwich The Wedding Quilt
3. Work on project for Melva and Brenda's September "Get On Board With Sewing" blog hop
4. On Saturday, help our daughter with a few projects at her house then take her to lunch! (The Littles will be with their Dad)

And now let's see your posts! Just click on the link below and add your post, then go visit other blogs to see what your friends have been up to - you'll laugh, fight off squirrels, and maybe even be inspired to finish something you've been putting off.

If you have any issues clicking on the link to Marsha's Spot, you can copy the text below and paste it into your browser and should have no problems. If you wonder why I keep posting this information, it is because Inlinkz has never "fixed" whatever is the issue, and I don't want you to miss Marsha's posts!

  2. It's always exciting when you find the perfect backing for a quilt - gives you a boost for finishing it! I bet you're loving being so much closer to your daughter and the littles, and they love it, too. Have a great day!

  4. I love the Instagram meme! It’s so true! (Oh, and I will be borrowing it. 😄) Looks like you did well on last week’s playlist. Thanks for hosting.

  5. This may post as anonymous, I hope not! I find it harder to use my Google account from my iPad! It used to work weir! Something changed! Judy@ BusyHandsAreHappyHands Anyway, looks like you made good progress on your flimsies! Can’t wait to see them to the finish line. As much as we love our littles, it’s good once in awhile to spend time with our adult kids all alone, just being grownups! Have a good Saturday!

  6. It's true about the points! I often see quilters posting on Facebook and saying its not perfect! Well so what! The Letters to Santa should be fun. I am not doing it but think its great. I saw Kimberley from FQS talking about it.

  8. Hi Linda,
I like that quilt saying...so true. I've already got way toooooo many projects to keep me busy...so I'm not joining any new Blog Hops or Sew A Longs. Have a great day!

  9. I never look that close at a quilt I am sleeping under. I am more concerned with it's warmth and comfort! But as a quilter I do give a bit of worry to it. LOL

  11. I also am having a hard time signing into my Google account but for me the difficulty is with my phone. Anyway Linda it’s Mary with Quiltingisinmyblood.com. I also loved the quilting meme! Thanks for continuing to host To-Do Tuesdays. I know you are one busy woman, and I appreciate all the time and effort you put into hosting this weekly linky party. It definitely has helped me accomplish more of my quilting goals.

  14. That Letters To Santa looks kind of complicated to get one's layout. I'm looking forward to seeing yours, Linda! That points under a quilt meme made me laugh!!!
