To Do Tuesday 9-21-21

It's To Do Tuesday - time to share the status of your goals and make a list for the coming week. The linkup is below, so join in the fun!

Our area is due a fairly strong cold front today and lower temperatures tomorrow will coincide with the Autumn Equinox. That really puts me in the mood for fall! My autumn fabric love got the best of me when another Squirrel-spiration fought for dominance in my sewing room last week (see photo above). And it won! You can read all about it here.

The "chains" and nine-patches are ready to pair with the solids

Let's see how I did on my goals from last week:
1. Sandwich Exploding Heart - Nope
2. Sandwich DashAlong quilt - Nope
✅3. Slow stitching at night - Welcome Autumn, RBD quilt, and Christmas project - Progress on RBD big stitching
✅4. Indian Corn blocks - Finished sewing all the components, now to put the blocks together
✅5. Catch up on Pieces of the Santa Fe Trail blocks - Progress. I have three blocks and I need eight.

I took my Janome in for service yesterday, and it won't be ready until next Tuesday. That should give me plenty of time to do my goals for the coming week:
1. Sandwich Exploding Heart
2. Sandwich DashAlong
3. Slow stitching - Welcome Autumn, RBD quilt, and Christmas project

I can't wait to see what you're up to this week! Please add your link below.

  1. I'm not a huge fan of sandwiching quilts, but I'm always happier once it's done. Hope you tackle those goals for this week so you can get those beauties quilted! Thanks for hosting the linky!

  5. Good luck with this week's to do list. I'm looking forward to the cooler weather forecast for the next few days. It seems like we've had a looong summer.

  6. That seems like a fast turnaround for your machine. I need to call and see how long mine would visit if I bring it in this week. Keep plugging away on the to do list. Have a great week.

  8. Hi Linda,
When you came to my place, Food for Thought a few days ago, you asked about tying a quilt. I've post a little tutorial, not a video, but pictures. If you want to come see it, your welcome....have a great day! P.S. Love your Pumpkin Mini Quilt!

  9. Hi Linda! I really love your Autumn table runner - it looks really inviting with the pumpkin candleholder, too. I need to bring my machine in for a tune up but they are running about a month out. That's just too long for me!! Thanks for the linky party this week, and good luck layering everything! That is my least favorite part of quilting. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
